A very festive edition of the beloved dating show, with a fresh batch of couples looking to find love for Christmas. Will Sophie, who likes ‘bad boys’, get on with gentleman Mehmet? Will 59-year-old Mandi fall for 65-year-old Robert? We’ll have to wait and see. #firstdates

The Shawshank Redemption (TV3, 9pm)

Where is your dad? Call him now, and tell him Shawshank is on tonight. He’ll be delighted. Tim Robbins stars as the man wrongly jailed for his wife’s murder, and Morgan Freeman is the inmate he befriends. A classic.

Jame’s Ultimate Christmas (Channel 4, 8.pm)

Worried about cooking the dinner on Sunday? Jamie Oliver is on hand to provide some last minute tips on everything from getting the perfect turkey to making fab roast potatoes. We’re hungry just thinking about it.

Everybody’s talking about: Great British Bake Off

Speculation over what Channel 4 have in store for the Great British Bake Off rumbles on – the latest rumours have it that Scarlett Moffatt (she of Gogglebox and I’m A Celeb fame) has been tapped to host.

The Mirror reports that Channel 4 bosses think she’s “young, funny, and just the type of presenter they’re looking for”. INTERESTING.
